Path Three: Fine-Tuning

This path is for you if you’re on track with food, you rarely get cravings and your mental focus and energy levels are top notch. You’re ready to see what your body’s capable of and aren’t sure where to start.

Week One: the Cleanse

Even though you feel great on your current diet, it’s not a bad idea to freshen things up and jump in with a bang. Even if you do a reset (three to five Cleanse days) that should be enough for a quick win and a bold move on your part to get your head in the game.

  1. If you haven’t already, you can download your Cleanse doc here

  2. Go get yourself into the CC Facebook group and say hello! We’re all excited to meet you!

  3. If you don’t want to go through it alone, keep an eye on our Events page for the next challenge when we Cleanse together as a group!

Week Two: Life After the Cleanse

My suggestion is to dabble with each of these options in the order they’re listed. The reason for this is they get more complex the farther you go down the list and if you can reach your goals more simply, then there’s no need for you to ever overcomplicate things and stress yourself out.

Start here:

  1. Go to bed hungry. You’re basically doing this already after Cleansing, but now I want you to make it a priority. This is our way of incorporating intermittent fasting into your life without being too drastic at first.

  2. Add extra veggies to your meals and cut back slightly on everything else. This tactic allows you to subtly decrease calorie intake, while keeping the volume of your meals huge (gotta keep that fullness, ladies!).

  3. Track your food and tweak macros in an app like Loseit or MyFitnessPal. You could eat 2,000 calories with a ratio of 60-30-10 (% carb-protein-fat) and see zero results, but switch it up to something more like 30-30-40 while keeping calories exactly the same and see night-and-day changes in your body. This is something you’ll have to tinker with… for a while. Everyone is different so I suggest embracing the process, not getting tooooo obsessed with numbers and sticking with one ratio for at least a week before changing it; you need time to see what’s working or not working.
